May 12 - Update 3 

Well, today is the second last day that we will be here in Romania and the team is pretty tired. We arrived back in Cluj from Beclean via 2 hour train ride and a brief walk back to our home where we are staying…. Its presently 5pm here on Monday and the team is working on a written assignment which I have given them.

Since I last wrote, the team has mainly worked at 2 orphanages where we had games, cook-outs, music, and shared life stories. In addition, the team spoke in class rooms about Canada, personal life stories and their faith in God. The main thing that we ask our team members to do is to have fun with orphans and ask questions about their lives. The team has been very focused on individual orphans and have been surprised at how hungry the children are for any attention at all. The Ilisua orphanage is particularly run down and in obvious need. It was a thrill to deliver the medicine that I mentioned in the last Blog…

We leave on a bus for the Budapest airport Tuesday night at 11pm (4pm toronto time)… We will catch a flight from Budapest to Paris at 7am. We will then catch the 10:40am Air France flight to Toronto, arriving at Terminal 3 (AF 352) at 1:05 pm Wednesday…
