May Team Update
We arrived home safely on Thursday afternoon. Our time went by so fast and it already seems so distant and surreal. Thank-you to all who demonstrated support of this team through monetary donations, clothing, supplies and prayer. It was  once again a very meaningful experience. There is so much to process and so many highlights. We spent many hours with children - playing, loving, laughing and distributing donations. Jean Vanier, in his book ‘Becoming Human’ writes, “The basic human need is for at least one person who believes and trusts in us. But that is never enough, it doesn’t stop there. Each of us needs to belong, not just to one person but to a family, friends, a group and a culture.” This is what will stay with me from this visit and breaks my heart when I think about these children…any children who grow up with out someone who believes in them. They live in a fickle environment. Trust and friendship is a mirage and fear is their companion. But God is at work and we have an opportunity to partner with him, to be his hands and his feet, as He continues to lavish his love on the children of Romania.

Thank-you again,
Mike for the team
